Narration was such a bad idea...

The score is mainly for the animation as per usual it was excellent.

I Personally believe you made a HUGE mistake adding naration, it was poor story telling and often the atmospheric/background music was way to loud and overpowered the narration. Her voice wasn't really that soothing and the script she was given seems to have been hugely rushed.

"Deep down, he harboured loneliness" etc, really didn't need to be told. You could of easily shown this through facial expressions and camera movement, i mean if there was no narration at all at that one part it would of worked alot better. (Personally)

Overall, i'm not a huge fan of this in comparison to your other work as i can tell this was a rushed job (4 weeks) and i'm pretty sure if you had longer, it would of came out alot better.

Think more about the sound next time, as sound is often more important than the animation itself (Don't mean to sound patronising as i couldn't animate as well as you, but i think you know yourself the story was hugely rushed and the narration was a huge slip up).

Everything would look better with more time spent on it, and yes I admit I'd like to have dedicated some extra weeks to tweaking. That happens on every project though, but at the end of the day, I'm happy with this one and ready to move onto the next. Lessons learned, new plans drawn up, etc ;)

Dude you know yourself it did'nt deserve thisscore

I guess that what having a fan base did for you, as its a selection of your animations i see no real need for it to be on newgrounds or for it to get such a high score... that said some of it was impressive and it's worth showing the Ng people what you can achieve.

Why....

This got a 3+ score i'll never know. Most of the backgrounds are traced bitmaps, or horribly cut jpeg's. The animation is choppy at best the story was horrible, the character design was horrible.

Sometimes Newgrounds worries me.

If I didn't get at least one person to bash the hell out of my work It just wouldn't be newgrounds -_- Traced bmps you say? Well yes, I did trace them from the originals which were also drawn by me! (Mainly to keep the file size smaller) I tell you what! Take a good look around the internet. I garentee you won't find any duplications unless stolen because they were either 3d generated by me or drawn by me. Hell I don't even need to defend myself against someone that probably can't draw a stick figure. It's not newgrounds we should be worried about it's people like you. Still no worries ^^ At least I got a 3 from you rather than a 0 so your only half an @$$ Anyway you can bash my work anytime. I always get a good laugh from losers like yourself. LOL!

Its good...

But ive never liked the lock and clock animations. Granted the graphics and animation Own most of the stuff on newgrounds But i feel that Locks/Clocks are just wasted. You have a fan base yes, but its the fact that there is no real effort in drawing a lock on a Fruit or on "knuckles's face".

Keep that in mind i still gave you a 5 and to the guy b4 me. everyone has there own opinion so why dont you give it a rest mayB. Thanx.

Yes but there IS real effort in constructing the several amazing backgrounds in that part. Even when some backgrounds only show for a few seconds.

Agreed it was good. the animation was Jumpy and not very smooth. Some of the motion tweening was pretty poor.The blood sucked. And if you threw a grenade in a room and it went of. you wudnt be sittin up a wall with blood Coming out youre Ass >.<.

I honestly dont think this is gettin the Score it deserves especialy for a first timer. One HUGE problem was the use of sticks.... what you could of done for a cool ending was to make them real and Have a close up on some faces and fade the screen grey. ^^; Good luck and Good job

Heh, there were lots of ninjas in that one. But yeah, everyone loves Scorpion. That's why I had to put him in. People say Mortal Kombat and most people think Scorpion and Sub-Zero. They are Mortal Kombat. It's kind of sad, because if any one character should be synonymous with Mortal Kombat, it's Liu Kang. But I think most people just see him as another Bruce Lee ripoff character in a fighting game. But he's so much more. He was the first!

The commentary reminded you of Red Dwarf? That's cool, I love that show.
